::: First Step: diagnostic
Rigorous diagnosis in order to determmine if hair will sustain
the procedure.
Your hair is rated on scale of 1 to 10: 1=virgin 10=severely damaged.
The models on this page rated 4 which dictates which of 2 solutions to use
and for how long.
First we wash hair with a formula containing hydrolyzed collagen and keratin
protein to repair damaged areas.
Spritz hair with treated water that helps
with the absorption of further products plus another spray that deposits
collagen and protein on damaged portions and a conditioner. This stage
fortifies and reinforces the hair. Next the straightening solution, left
on for 6 to 20 minutes. Here our models kept it on for 15 minutes.
The bonds of
specific proteins that make up the hair are broken and until we reconnect
them with Yuko solution, it is vulnerable.
The system reconstructs the hair
in a straight shape at cellular level making it the memory of the treated
hair.
When the hair is 80% dry we start flat ironing it in half-inch sections
with an iron heated to 356 degrees.
It reconnects the bonds of the hair.
Treatment ends with a gel to lock in the shape and texture created by the iron
and the hair is often in better condition than before
